Ciate Paint Pot in Island Hopping

Ciate Paint Pot in Island Hopping.

Following on from yesterday's Autumn lipstick post and since it is still so flipping wet and miserable I thought I would paint my nails a nice bright and cheerful colour.

Ciate Paint Pot in Island Hopping just seemed to fit the bill. This is a lovely burnt orange colour with very fine particles of glitter. Orange is usually a colour I struggle with. I find it quite difficult to get the right shade against my skintone, but I like this a lot. I have used two coats in the photo. The glitter adds a really pretty shimmer, but is fine enough not to effect the texture. I am not fond of full on glitter as I prefer a smooth finish.

This is the first Ciate nail polish I have tried, and I am really impressed with the quality. This has made me want the Ciate advent calendar even more.

  6. That's a really pretty orange. That bottle looks pretty cute too, with the black bow. I wonder if that brand is available here in my country.

    Thanks for sharing Karen! :)
